Think about every problem, every challenge we face. The solution to each starts with education.”, said US President George W. Bush.
MMNA has been actively promoting and pursuing the cause of supporting needy students by providing educational loan scholarships and assisting students in different ways – such as networking within the community, mentoring, internships, job searches, etc. Since its inception in April 1987, MMNA has granted loan scholarships of over $100,000 supporting 100+ Rajasthani students for their higher education. In addition, it has supported educational needs of several students in India through partnerships / matching grants with some of the local ABMM (Akhil Bharatiya Maheshwari Mahasabha) chapters and with Shrikrishnadas Jajoo Trust in India.
Several of the students that MMNA has helped over the years are now well settled and established in US and elsewhere. Most of them have also repaid their loans and also contributed additional money towards the fund. The program is funded by donations received from several of our members and the refunds from the past recipients.
Over the last few years, we have been able to make significant strides in our educational pursuits:
"Education is not preparation of life, education is life itself"
