Message from Outgoing and Incoming Chair MMNA Board of Directors

Jan 19, 2009

Message From the Outgoing Chair of MMNA Board of Directors:

Dear MMNA Pariwar:

Hare Krishna. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a prosperous and happy 2009. My term as the chair of MMNA Board of Directors has come to an end. I want to thank the Board members as well as the members of the National Executive Committee, led ably by Seemaji Rathi for the past four years, for their hard work and support to further the goals of the MMNA. I will always remain appreciative of the MMNA Pariwar for giving me the opportunity to serve for the past four years.

On Sunday, January 18, 2009 the Board met via a conference call and Shri Naval Modani of Orlando, Florida was duly nominated, seconded, and elected as the new chair of the Board. I congratulate him and wish him and the new Board continued accomplishments. Further, the new NEC under the leadership of Shri Kishor Lohiya of Houston, Texas as president took charge on January 14, 2009. I am sure that during Modaniji's service as chair and Lohiyaji's service as president, MMNA will carry on the process of progress in advancing its goals and build unity within the Pariwar.

Thanks to one and all.

Bhawrilal Kakani, Past Chair of the MMNA Board

Message From the Incoming Chair of MMNA Board of Directors:

Dear Friends in the MMNA Pariwar:

Jai Mahesh. I wish all of you a wonderful 2009. My sincere thanks are due to the MMNA Board for giving me the opportunity to serve the association. I pledge that I will do my best to advance the cause of our organization. We need your help and your ideas. Feel free to communicate your thoughts to me by phone (407-699-5394) or by email (nmodani@cfl.rr.com).

MMNA has several accomplishments to its credit during the past years. This was possible only due to the self less volunteer work and contributions of many. They have earned our gratitude. Let us keep up this spirit and encourage unity within the Pariwar.

During the next few weeks, I intend to personally contact several Board members, National Executive Committee members, Regional Executive Committee members, and others to seek their views and ideas to better MMNA in its structure as well as its functioning.

Let all of us pledge to cooperate and assist the new NEC in making MMNA a productive and better organization. We must rededicate ourselves to pariwar bhavna and self less service so that collectively we can continue the achievements of MMNA. Please join me in thanking the previous NEC for their work as well as congratulating the new NEC and wishing them success.

Naval Modani Chair, MMNA Board of Directors
