Anju Rathi, President, MMNA Mideast Chapter, said, “We as Maheshwaris were converted from Chatriyas (Rajas or Worriers) to Veshyas (Merchants). As Lord Shiva gave us second life to be Veshyas we were asked to stop using bow and arrows as worriers and use brain power instead to make living. Veshyas are business people who use brain power to make sound judgment, careful and logical decisions towards trade. We all know brain power is superior to physical power. At this age in time computers run on brain power not physical power. Brain power is a god given asset we have, which is the primary reason along with the hard work we do well in our professions. With god's blessings we are passing these good genes and work ethics to our children who are becoming valuable assets to this country.

These pictures tell the story that we as a Maheshwari Pariwar join together not only for gala fun with good dancing and food but we have a higher expectation from ourselves to have committed strong families, who can give strong foundation to our children in academics, extra curricular activities and positive values who will be the future of this nation. Our children have a tough job of competing in today's global economy and we all as parents are doing an important job of raising and supporting them well. As we all know parenting does not stop at primary school, high school or at the end of college, parenting is a life long process and we having the privilege of Indian origin understand this concept better than anyone else. Let us stand united and bring up our children in a loving, nurturing, caring and positive environment who will make this nation proud."
