Souvenir Book

Intertwined with the convention is the idea of the souvenir book, intended to be not only a repository of crucial information and useful trivia but also a vehicle of written artistic expression for all participants. Here’s your chance to be involved in this effort. Please contribute freely to topics such as:

·                     Introspective reflections of life in USA

·                     Our history and cultural heritage

·                     Humorous anecdotes, quips and aphorism

·                     Articles on Rajasthani life

·                     Free-form Poetry (even better in Marwadi)

·                     Rajasthani recipes, rituals, attire, and idiosyncrasies

·                     Other topics such as issues faced by us and our youth

Cultural Program

The cultural program is intended to be a showcase for talent from within our community. Here is an opportunity for you and your children to participate in any of the following activities:

·                     Rajasthani, Hindi and English songs and dances

·                     Instrumental recitals

·                     One-act skits or short dramas

·                     Miming and mimicry

·                     Fashion show

·                     Other suggestions for cultural programs and entertainment are welcome
