South West Chapter

I am truly honored to take on the role of SW Chapter president! Originally from Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, I have called Austin home since 2011, where I live with my wonderful wife Swati and our two amazing children—Mehul, 17, and Manya, 13. Over the years, I’ve been deeply involved in the MMNA-SW community, contributing to various events and initiatives, particularly those focused on corporate social responsibility (CSR), which is a passion of mine. My journey in service began back in Itarsi, where I had the privilege of serving as both president and secretary of the Maheshwari Yuva Mandal and the Rotary Club. I look forward to continuing this journey of leadership and community engagement, and I’m excited for all that lies ahead!

Ankur Rathi works as a Senior Business System Architect (SAP Production & Supply Chain) at Google, having previously worked at Gyansys, Accenture, and IBM. Born in Shegaon and raised in Nashik, he holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical from COEP, Pune, and a Master's in MIS from USF, Tampa. He is married to Neha Bhutada (also from Shegaon) and they have two children, 6-year-old son Anay and 3-year-old daughter Siya. Ankur has been an active MMNA member since 2015, was part of the founding Austin team (2016), and served as MMNA SW Technology Lead (2021-22). A passionate cricket fan (favorite player Virat Kohli, supports RCB) and stand-up comedy viewer. Ankur’s goal is to strengthen the Maheshwari community, pass on good values, and create lasting memories through organizing engaging events within the supportive MMNA "parivar".

Meet Princy Rathi, who comes from the vibrant city of Delhi, India and have been in Austin since 2016. She is happily married to Gourav Rathi (from Bhilwara) and is the proud mother of two adorable daughters, Aashvi(12) and Miha(7), who bring joy and love to her everyday life. Princy is a computer engineer by education, but she chose to dedicate herself full-time to her home and family. Being a homemaker has allowed her to create a warm and caring environment for her loved ones while staying actively involved in her community. She also serves as the Treasurer of MMNA SW(Austin), an organization that holds a special place in her heart. Got introduced to the pariwaar in San Deigo where they lived for an year in 2015. For Princy, MMNA is more than just a community group—it’s a way to stay connected to her Indian roots, celebrate festivals, and feel a sense of belonging that she is very grateful for.

Jai Mahesh !! This is Umesh Baheti, S/O Shri Prem Kishore and Vijay Laxmi Baheti. I and my wife Khushboo Kothari Baheti hail from Jodhpur, Rajasthan in INDIA. We are blessed with two angels Aayra (9) and Anay (5). I am an SAP ERP Project manager and Finance consultant with Cognizant. I love playing cricket, watching movies & enjoying outdoor activities with kids., I and my family like exploring places and therefore vacation planning over Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays is something , we eagerly await. Umesh is associated with MMNA Austin for last 4 years. It is so satisfying to be part of all festivities , contribute towards organizing events and celebrate with friends and families. Umesh will work with MMNA Core Committee to help strengthening MMNA Core values , bond among the local and consolidated chapter , implement new initiatives to keep the community hit, fit & lit. Last but not the least, It is an honor to be part of a vibrant community and I feel very engaged with all community members on different forums.
